EASTON, Pa. (AP) — A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized after a pit bull attacked her while she walked with her mother in Pennsylvania.
Lehigh Valley Live reports (http://bit.ly/2vPeqbI ) animal control has yet to find the dog that bit into the leg of 4-year-old Khloe Rose in Easton Wednesday.
Kristi Heinick says she was walking with Khloe and their dog, Doggie, when the pit bull got out of a fenced-in yard. The animal first attacked Doggie before moving on to Khloe.
Heinick says her daughter had to get several stitches and started rabies vaccinations. Doggie suffered a puncture wound, but he was walking around and eating Thursday.
Animal control says the attack is under investigation.
