LONDON (AP) _ Ernie Els' five-shot victory in the Heineken Classic in Melbourne tightened the World Golf Ranking standings.

Els remained at No. 5 in the rankings but his ninth European Tour victory left him less than one-half point behind No. 4 Sergio Garcia. Els has 6.70 points and Garcia 7.01.

Tiger Woods continues to lead the standings with 14.43 points followed by Phil Mickelsen (9.63) and David Duval (7.36).

Matt Gogel's victory in the AT&T National Pro-Am was his first PGA Tour win and moved him to No. 61 in the world.
