WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — Two people are dead after a pickup rollover near Wahpeton.

The North Dakota State patrol says the 2008 Chevrolet pickup was heading south on a gravel road four miles south of Wahpeton about 9 p.m. Saturday when the vehicle drifted across the northbound lane. Authorities say the driver corrected and lost control of the pickup, which rolled in the ditch.

A 35-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were thrown from the pickup and died at the scene. The patrol says neither was wearing seat belts.

Authorities don't know who was driving. Their names won't be released until relatives are notified.
