Puerto Rico police remove 60 from nursing home

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — Authorities in Puerto Rico have removed 60 elderly people from a nursing home in the island's southern region amid allegations of mistreatment.
Police said in a statement Saturday that they acted after receiving a call from concerned officials with the Department of Family.
Police said the investigation into the nursing home in the town of Juana Diaz is ongoing and that no one has been charged.
