BOSTON (AP) _ Free agent guard Milt Palacio signed a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics, who also activated rookie forward Jerome Moiso from the injured list Wednesday.
Palacio was originally signed by Boston on Dec. 6, then waived last week. He played in 12 games, starting three. He averaged 2.7 points and 3.4 assists in slightly more than 20 minutes a game.
Palacio appeared in 53 games for Vancouver last season, averaging two points. He played in college at Colorado State.
Moiso, the team's first-round draft pick last year, went on the injured list Dec. 28 with a sprained right ankle and missed seven games. He averaged 1.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 11 games.
To make room for Moiso on the roster, guard Adrian Griffin was placed on the injured list with lower back pain.
