Bush Names Ambassador to Nigeria

WASHINGTON (AP) _ President Bush has chosen Donald K. Steinberg as ambassador to Nigeria.
Steinberg is currently deputy director of policy planning at the State Department. He was previously ambassador to Angola, and was also senior director of African affairs at the National Security Council.
Nigeria is one of the countries Bush visits next week in a five-day tour of Africa.
The selection was announced Wednesday.
