DAYTON, Ohio (AP) _ Kevin Edwards scored 24 points and Dallas Comegys added 21 as unbeaten 15th-ranked DePaul defeated Dayton 80-64 in college basketball Saturday night to break a five-year losing streak at the University of Dayton Arena.

DePaul, now 10-0, outscored Dayton's Flyers 7-2 in the last 2:12 of the first half to take a 39-34 halftime lead, then pulled away in the second half with an early scoring spurt.

Dayton Coach Don Donoher, angered at what he perceived as lax foul-calling on DePaul players, was given two technical fouls and ejected from the game in the second half after he shouted at the officials, then went onto the court and bumped referee George Solomon. Despite being ejected, Donoher stayed at his bench for several minutes before Solomon noticed and ordered him out of the playing area.

Anthony Corbitt and Dan Christie each scored 15 points to pace Dayton, which slipped to 5-5 with the loss. Troy McCracken added 12 points and Ed Young 11.

Dayton had won four consecutive games over DePaul in the past five years at University of Dayton Arena before DePaul's victory Saturday night.
