NEW YORK (AP) _ The overnight ratings for Detroit's Game 4 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals on Sunday night were up 66 percent from last year's fourth game of the series. ABC's broadcast got a 14.4 rating with a 23 share, up from the 8.7 with a 14 that Game 4 between San Antonio and New Jersey got in 2003.

Sunday night's game was the highest-rated program of the night and the highest-rated NBA Finals game since the fourth game of the 2001 finals.

Game 4 between the Lakers and the Nets in 2002 got a 12.0 rating with a 20 share, 20 percent lower than this year.

The Pistons lead the NBA Finals 3-1. Game 5 is Tuesday night.

Overnight ratings measure the 55 largest TV markets in the United States, covering nearly 70 percent of the country. Each overnight rating point represents about 735,000 TV homes.
