PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — A man convicted of killing a woman who was found dead of head injuries outside his New Jersey home is now headed to prison.

Christopher Koller was sentenced to 73 years overall Thursday. The 41-year-old Piscataway man had been convicted in March on murder, drug and hindering apprehension charges.

Authorities said Koller threw 31-year-old Beth Bezek of Raritan out of the third-floor window of his Piscataway home on Halloween night 2016. They said Koller then drove to New Brunswick, where he placed an anonymous call about the woman's injuries.

Bezek's body was found at Koller's home a short time later.

Prosecutors have said Koller forced Bezek out the window while she was visiting him. But they have not disclosed a motive for the killing.
