Women Have Spoken: National Survey Reveals Most Recommended Brands by Women

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With women controlling $7 trillion in US spending, it’s imperative that brands perk up to hear what women have to say, while aiming to earn their trust and loyalty.
The newly announced national survey results by the Women’s Choice Award reveal the brands women trust most for their home and family. These brands are chosen by women, for women – identifying the brands they would recommend to their friends and family.
Every day, women are given an overwhelming number of product choices online and in-store, making it harder than ever to determine which products will meet their expectations. The Women’s Choice Award seal represents the best brands, as chosen by women. The award simplifies her choices in a cluttered marketplace and minimizes the unwanted dilemma of ‘trial and error’. The most recommended brands include:
Home Services and Products, at their FinestFor women seeking home warranty service agreements to repair or replace their appliances and other items, American Home Shield was their company of choice. And for women and families who recently moved, Allied was chosen as their most recommended moving company.
When it comes to a number of kitchen appliances, Kenmore was the most recommended for its range, dishwasher, refrigerator and washer/dryer. As for kitchen cabinetry, KraftMaid is the brand of choice for women.
Cleaning Time SaversFor women surveyed, Speed Queen came up as the most recommended commercial-grade laundry machine for the home. And when it comes to protecting leather furniture and belongings, and making sure they stay in the finest condition, Uniters Leather Master was highly recommended by their female customers.
As for women looking to hire a helping hand for their cleaning needs, Merry Maids is the #1 choice.
Brands for a Much-Needed Good Night’s Sleep Women tend to multi-task and use more of their actual brain than men leading to a greater need for sleep. Women surveyed were of the multi-tasking variety, with 75% employed, over 70% with children and 60% of stay-at-home moms involved in entrepreneurial/part-time work. Their top mattress and bedding brands include Restonic and Serta.
Brands in Beauty and WellnessFor women seeking the best in skin care, Adamia Therapeutic Repair Lotion and DERMA E are highly recommended by 9 out of 10 of their female customers, while eos came up in the national survey as the most recommended brand of choice for lip care. And for women surveyed who enjoy an active lifestyle, the Smart Buddie fitness tracker band was highly recommended among its female customers.
For women who have required relief from certain ailments, The Relief Products have earned the award for being highly recommended among their female customers for the following categories: PinkEye Relief, StyeRelief, and Ring Relief.
For Moms and Their Precious BundlesPregnancy is a special lifetime moment. For moms and moms-to-be who are pregnant or looking to become pregnant, two prenatal products received an outstanding 9 out of 10 recommendation rating from their customers: Seeking Health and VitaPearl. And for moms who already welcomed their precious bundle of joy into their homes, Sealy Baby mattress and bedding and Playtex Baby Diaper Genie were the top picks by moms across America.
The Tried and True BrandsA number of household name brands across a variety of categories were favored by the women surveyed. When it comes to travel Allegiant Air and Paul Gauguin Cruise Lines were among the most recommended brands in the air and at sea. Red Heart Yarn took the #1 spot for the 3rd year in a row for their yarn, while Purina One dry dog food earned the top spot by dog owners around the country. Rain-X windshield wipers wiped out the competition and Speedo’s goggles were the clear winners in their categories.
