IRVING, Texas (AP) _ Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair left Sunday's game against Dallas in the second quarter with a mild concussion after he ran shoulder-first into an equipment trunk on the Cowboys' sideline.
McNair was pushed out of bounds at the Dallas 45 by linebacker Dexter Coakley after scrambling for 8 yards, just shy of the first down marker. McNair couldn't brace himself and stumbled into a bench and the trunk about 10 yards behind the sideline.
Titans medical personnel examined McNair on the sideline, checking his vision and stretching his neck muscles. His return was questionable.
