SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Right-hander Manny Aybar joined his seventh organization in six years on Tuesday, agreeing to a one-year contract with the San Francisco Giants.

Aybar started last season with the Chicago Cubs, going 2-1 with a 6.35 ERA as a long reliever, before being traded to Tampa Bay in the deal for Fred McGriff. He went 1-3 with a 5.68 ERA for the Devil Rays' Triple-A affiliate in Durham.

Aybar has a 16-18 major league record with three saves and a 5.14 ERA. He pitched for St. Louis, Colorado, Cincinnati and Florida before last season.
