ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) _ Mark McLemore atoned for a ninth-inning error with a two-run single in the 10th to lead Seattle over the Texas Rangers 13-11 Monday night and extend the Mariners' winning streak to eight.

McLemore's hit off Dan Miceli (0-2) came after the reliever loaded the bases on two walks and a single.

Seattle, which overcame home runs by Alex Rodriguez and Carl Everett to sweep the four-game series, has won all eight games on the road during its streak. Last year, the Mariners set an AL record with 59 road wins.

Desi Relaford homered and drove in four runs for Seattle, McLemore had three RBIs and Mike Cameron homered. Rangers pitchers walked 10.

Texas, which outhit Seattle 16-15, had tied it at 11 in the ninth after McLemore dropped Kevin Mench's liner to left for a two-base error. Mench took third on Hank Blalock's sacrifice and scored on pinch-hitter Mike Lamb's sacrifice fly.

Ruben Sierra walked in the 10th, Carlos Guillen singled and Ben Davis walked to load the bases for McLemore.

After blowing his first save opportunity in the ninth, Kasuhiro Sasaki (1-0) got the victory despite allowing the unearned run. Shigetoshi Hasegawa got three outs for his first save.

Seattle had gone ahead 11-10 in the ninth with the help of John Rocker's throwing error. Dan Wilson led off with a single, and Rocker overthrew first base on McLemore's bunt, allowing pinch-runner Charles Gipson to move to third. After Suzuki was walked intentionally, Relaford's sacrifice fly drove in the tying run.

Texas starter Dave Burba gave up six runs and seven hits in five-plus innings, and Seattle starter James Baldwin allowed seven runs and 10 hits in 4 2-3 innings.

John Olerud's RBI single and Sierra's two-run double gave Seattle a 3-0 lead in the first, but Rodriguez's fifth homer of the season pulled Texas to 3-2 in the third.

Wilson hit an RBI single in the fourth, and Mench singled in a run in the bottom half. Relaford's first AL homer put Seattle ahead 5-3 in the fifth.

Everett's three-run homer and Hank Blalock's RBI single gave Texas a 7-5 lead in the bottom half, chasing Baldwin, but Cameron homered leading off the sixth, chasing Burba.

Suzuki's RBI single and Relaford's two-run single put Seattle on top 9-8, and McLemore added a sacrifice fly in the seventh, but Texas came back in the bottom half on Bill Haselman's run-scoring single off Jeff Nelson and Frank Catalanotto's two-run triple against Arthur Rhodes.
