WASHINGTON (AP) _ Adding to his luster as his party's top money raiser, President Clinton is scheduling events in South Carolina, New York, Nevada and California to collect money for Democratic candidates and causes.

White House officials said Clinton will speak in South Carolina on March 29 at a fund-raiser for Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., then fly to New York to spend the night at his new home at Chappaqua. The next day the president will attend three Democratic National Committee events in the New York City area.

Clinton is on the road again on April 2 and 3, speaking at Democratic fund raising events in Las Vegas and in California's Silicon Valley.
