COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ Andy Bostick scored 24 points and William Unseld added 23 to help South Carolina beat Campbell 85-51 Monday night.

The Gamecocks snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 8-15. Campbell, which upset Carolina a year ago, slipped to 7-17.

Melvin Watson chipped in 11 points and Carey Rich added 10 for South Carolina. Eight of the nine players on the Gamecocks roster got into the scoring column.

Corey Best led the Camels with 12 points.

South Carolina scored eight straight points to turn a 7-6 advantage into a 15-6 edge midway through the first half. It was 36-18 at the break.

The Gamecocks reeled off a 26-7 string in the first 10 minutes of the second half to leave only the margin of victory in doubt.

Bostick was 10-of-19 from the floor and Unseld was 8-of-10, including 3-of-3 on 3-pointers. The Gamecocks shot 53 percent, including 41 percent on 9-of-22 3-pointers.

Campbell shot 29 percent.
