EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) _ The Minnesota Vikings on Friday agreed to contract terms with All-America safety Tyrone Carter and Mike Malano.

Tyrone Carter, a fourth-round pick who played defensive back for the University of Minnesota, signed a three-year deal worth about $1.12 million, including a signing bonus near $250,000.

Malano, a center taken in the seventh round, will get an $18,000 signing bonus and a total package near $850,000 for three years.

The Vikings open training camp July 23.
