KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — The coach for the combined Plains/Hot Springs wrestling team has died in a head-on crash in northwestern Montana.
Plains Superintendent Thom Chisholm tells the Daily Inter Lake that 34-year-old Kenny Marjerrison died Wednesday. He was also the technology coordinator at the school.
The Montana Highway Patrol says Marjerrison was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 93 near Arlee at about 4:30 p.m. when his vehicle drifted into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. The driver of the pickup — a 50-year-old man from Anaconda — was hospitalized in Missoula. His condition was not immediately available.
Chisholm says counselors were available for students and staff.
