NEW YORK (AP) — Kevin Anderson threw five touchdown passes and Fordham beat Columbia 44-24 on Saturday to extend the Lions' losing streak to 22 games.
Anderson was 22 of 30 for 330 yards and the Rams (2-1) pulled away from the rallying Lions on his short TD pass to Chase Edmonds and 41-yarder to Phazahn Odom in the fourth quarter. Edmonds also had 125 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Anderson's 28-yard TD pass to Odom opened the scoring, and Fordham led 21-10 at halftime after his 3-yarder to Austin Longi and 7-yarder to Robbie Cantelli.
Skyler Mornhinweg passed for 187 yards and ran for two TDs, pulling Columbia (0-1) within 28-24 on a 1-yard run. Earlier in the third, Alan Watson had a 98-yard kickoff return for a score.
But Fordham shutdown Columbia's offense in the fourth, while Anderson capped two drives with TD passes and Makay Redd added a 34-yard field goal.
