Countess Diana wins Schuylerville Stakes

SARATOGA, N.Y. (AP) _ Countess Diana led all the way in registering a two-length victory in the $108,000 Schuylerville Stakes for 2-year-old fillies, the opening day feature at Saratoga on Wednesday.
With 116 pounds and Shane Sellers, Countess Diana sped six furlongs in 1:10 1-5 over a fast track to beat favored Love Lock.
Love Lock had beaten Countess Diana in their previous meeting, the Debutante Stakes at Churchill Downs on June 28.
This time, Love Lock finished second, five lengths ahead of Sequence. Stealth Success, Jersey Girl and Remodeling completed the order of finish.
Countess Diana earned $64,800 for Richard and Nancy Kaster with her second win in three career starts.
Countess Diana returned $6.60, $2.90 and $2.50. Love Lock paid $2.50 and $2.10 and Sequence was $3.40 to show.
