BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) — West Bromwich Albion says goalkeeper Ben Foster has been ruled out for at least four weeks with a knee injury.
Foster was injured in West Brom's 1-0 Premier League win over Stoke on Saturday and was replaced in the 56th minute by Boaz Myhill.
Foster will be absent from West Brom's upcoming league games against Manchester City, Queens Park Rangers and Leicester. He is also set to miss England's European Championship qualifying match against Lithuania on March 27 and a friendly against Italy on March 31.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis says "it's rotten news for Ben because he's been so consistent."
