KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) — Authorities in Jamaica say a four-vehicle car crash has killed three people in the northern part of the Caribbean island.

Investigators in the north coast town of Oracabessa are trying to determine the cause of the crash and are not immediately releasing identities of the victims.

A Sunday statement from the police says a Honda Civic collided head-on with a small motor bus. The bus ran off the road and came to rest in a ditch. Two of the 15 people traveling in the bus suffered fatal injuries and the other 13 were hurt.

Police say the Honda also crashed into another car, which then hit a parked truck. The Honda driver died at a hospital.
