DALLAS (AP) _ Dallas Stars defenseman Sergei Zubov is expected to miss two to four weeks with a sprained right knee.

Zubov, the team's third-leading scorer, will be re-evaluated at the start of the playoffs, Stars officials said Friday.

The Russian was injured in a third-period collision with Florida Panthers defenseman Bret Hedican on Wednesday. The Stars clinched their fourth straight Pacific Division title with a 4-1 victory over Florida.

Zubov, a three-time All-Star, has nine goals and 33 assists this season, his fourth with the Stars.

The defenseman recently signed a five-year contract extension tying him to Dallas through the 2004-05 season.
