Police looking for suspect in Central Park rape

NEW YORK (AP) — Police are investigating a reported rape this week in Central Park.
It happened on Monday at about 9 p.m. near West 110th Street and Lenox Avenue.
Police say a man approached a 35-year-old woman and offered to walk her home.
As they walked through Central Park, police say the man brandished a knife, assaulted her and raped her. He also took her purse containing her cellphone before fleeing.
Police on Thursday released photos and video surveillance of the suspect, described as a 30-year-old man with black hair, wearing a black-long sleeve shirt, tan pants, brown shoes and carrying a black book bag.
