LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) _ New Mexico State guard Antoine Hubbard was suspended indefinitely from the basketball team for undisclosed reasons, Aggies coach Neil McCarthy said Monday.
Hubbard, a 5-foot-10 senior from Allentown, Pa., was selected the team's most player last season after averaging 13.7 points and nearly six assists.
``We have high expectation of behavior from our student-athletes and we will not tolerate this type of behavior,'' athletic director Jim Paul said in a written statement.
Hubbard was suspended for three games last season for unauthorized use of university telephones. In August, he was identified as a passenger in a car crashed by Aggies guard Denmark Reid.
Last month, Hubbard was arrested on charges of domestic violence and battery against a woman described as his fiance. He was released after posting a $600 bond.
