NEW YORK (AP) _ Milan Rikic scored 25 points and Tony Rice added 22 Tuesday night to lead Wagner to a 72-69 victory over Robert Morris in the Northeast Conference opener for both teams.
Gabe Jackson's layup with 9:36 to play gave Robert Morris (2-6) a 57-49 lead, its biggest of the game. The Seahawks (2-7) went on a 13-5 run, with Rikic scoring seven points, to tie it with 6:30 left.
Rice's 3-pointer with 1:47 left broke the game's final tie and gave Wagner a 70-67 lead. Bacari Alexander's layup with 1:23 left brought the Colonials within one, but Warren and Rikic each made one free throw in the final 22 seconds.
Anderson added 11 points for Wagner.
Alexander and Hal Koenemud each had 14 points for the Colonials.
