BANGOR, Maine (AP) — A psychiatric hospital in Bangor, Maine, will have a new president this fall.

Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems says Scott Oxley will take over as president of Acadia Hospital on Oct. 1. He is the vice president and chief operating officer for Acadia.

EMHS president M. Michelle Hood says Oxley has been a member of the health system for nearly a quarter century. He is a certified public accountant with a background in business administration.

Acadia president Dan Coffey is retiring at the end of September. Acadia is a nonprofit psychiatric hospital that is licensed for 100 beds.
