RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) _ Donnie Pippen scored from 2 yards out in overtime to give N.C. Central a 33-30 win against cross-state rival North Carolina A&T for the first time since 1991.

Nathaniel Fitch caught six passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns for the Division I-AA Eagles, while Pippen had two catches for 31 yards in the opener for both teams.

A&T scored four touchdowns in a span of a little more than five minutes in the first quarter, twice on runs by Cornelius Gary. Defensive back James McCoy also scored twice in the run, once on a fumble recovery in the N.C. Central end zone and once on a 27-yard interception return.

The Aggies didn't score again until overtime.

Pat Simcox gave A&T a 30-27 lead in overtime with a 21-yard field goal before Pippen scored the winning TD.

Lawrence Fuller rushed for a touchdown with 4:50 remaining to tie the game at 27. Fuller gained 40 yards on 12 carries and completed 6 of 12 passes for 83 yards, including a 25-yard TD pass to Fitch.

Jason Battle was 10-for-21 for 92 yards and an interception for the Aggies. He also rushed 12 times for 32 yards. Gary led the team in rushing with 55 yards on 14 carries. Byron Phillips led the team in receiving with five catches for 63 yards.
