COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) _ Local favorite Rolf Sorensen held off Andreas Kloeden of Germany by 20 seconds to win the Tour of Denmark cycling race on Saturday.

Sorensen finished the fifth and last stage, a 179.3-kilometer ride from Vordingsborg to Frederiksberg, with the main pack five seconds behind winner Jann Kirsipuu of Estonia.

Kirsipuu covered the last stage in 3 hours, 49 minutes, 14 seconds. Marco Zanotti of Italy was second in the sprint, five seconds back.

Sorensen's aggregate time was 20:17.24.

Stephane Barthe of France was third overall, 44 seconds behind.

A total of 123 cyclists from 23 countries entered the 10th edition of the 558-mile race. Last year's winner, American Tyler Hamilton, did not compete.
