N.Y. Islanders Recall Torres, Roche

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) _ The New York Islanders called up forwards Raffi Torres and Dave Roche from Bridgeport on Wednesday and sent down forward Juraj Kolnik.
Torres, New York's first-round draft pick in 2000, joins the Islanders for the second time this season.
He made his NHL debut Nov. 24 against Anaheim, starting the game on a line with Alexei Yashin.
He was returned to Bridgeport on Nov. 26th. Torres has eight goals and four assists in 21 games for the Sound Tigers.
Roche leads Bridgeport through 22 games this season with 19 points and 13 goals, including seven on the power play and four game-winners.
Roche has played in 170 NHL games with Pittsburgh, Florida and Calgary.
Kolnik registered two goals in seven games with the Islanders, while posting 11 points (5-6-11) in 13 games with Bridgeport.
