The reigning Western Conference champions have yet to trail against the Jazz. Jazz point guard George Hill is listed as questionable with a left big toe sprain after missing Game 2. Warriors forward Draymond Green didn't practice after tweaking his left knee during Game 2, but is listed as probable.
UNDATED (AP) — The Washington Capitals try to stay alive in the NHL playoffs when they host the defending champion Pittsburgh Penguins, who lead the series three games to one. Sidney Crosby's status for tonight's game is uncertain. The Penguins star sat out Game 4 with a concussion but has been cleared for contact and returned to practice. This afternoon the New York Rangers are at Ottawa in a series that has seen each team win two games at home.
WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — The second round of the Wells Fargo Championship has been completed after rain caused a three-hour delay yesterday. Francesco Molinari has a one-shot lead at 6-under 138 after making two birdies for a par 72. Dustin Johnson, returning from a fall that knocked him out of the Masters, made two bogeys late in his round and for a 75. Johnson made the cut but ended his streak of 13 consecutive rounds at par or better.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Twins manager Paul Molitor says center fielder Byron Buxton was still experiencing headaches a day after running into the wall twice will chasing down fly balls. Buxton passed his initial concussion tests and Molitor said the Twins remained hopeful that he could return to the lineup this weekend. The Twins host the Red Sox this afternoon.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs have signed their first three draft picks. They also signed 12 college free agents and claimed running back Kelvin Taylor off waivers from Seattle as they began their rookie minicamp today.
