Tornado warnings lifted in Massachusetts

TAUNTON, Mass. (AP) — The National Weather Service has lifted tornado warnings for parts of northeastern, central and western Massachusetts.
The agency on Saturday cited severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornados in Middlesex, Essex, Franklin, Worcester and Hillsborough counties.
The warning was lifted just after 5 p.m., but a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. for eight counties: Worcester, Middlesex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Bristol, Plymouth and Hampden.
