AutoZone to Sell TruckPro

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) _ AutoZone Inc. plans to sell TruckPro, its heavy-duty truck parts subsidiary.
The company said in a news release Tuesday that it has hired Morgan Keegan & Company Inc. to assist with the sale.
There are 49 TruckPro stores in 15 states. AutoZone sells auto and light truck parts, chemicals and accessories through more than 3,000 stores in 42 states, plus the District of Columbia and 16 stores in Mexico.
It also sells automotive diagnostic and repair software through ALLDATA, diagnostic and repair information through alldatadiy.com, and auto and light truck parts through autozone.com.
Shares of AutoZone rose 16 cents Tuesday on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $37.91.
