NEW YORK (AP) _ It won't be long before Sarah Jessica Parker can fit into her designer dresses again.
The ``Sex and the City'' star and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, are the parents of a baby boy.
Parker, 37, gave birth in New York on Monday to a son weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 19 1/2 inches long, said her spokeswoman, Ina Treciokas. She declined to give further information.
The baby is the first child for Parker and Broderick, 40. He recently co-starred in the hit Broadway musical ``The Producers'' with Nathan Lane.
Parker, who has won three Golden Globes for her role as sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw on HBO's ``Sex and the City,'' married Broderick in 1997.
