EVERETT, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say they found two kilograms of cocaine hidden in a child's car seat during a traffic stop, even though there was no child in the car.

A trooper on patrol on Route 28 in Medford on Saturday pulled over a vehicle with New Jersey plates after witnessing it commit moving violations, including failure to signal and marked lanes violations.

The car was pulled over in Everett.

Police say they discovered the cocaine during a search of the vehicle.

The occupants, 24-year-old driver Royer Vasquez Delrosario of Garfield, N.J., and passenger, 29-year-old Victor Nicolas Soto Sanchez of Bronx, N.Y., were arrested on cocaine trafficking charges.

Both were held over the weekend on $10,000 bail pending arraignment Monday. It could not be determined if they had lawyers.
