German hospital fire kills 9

BAD SEGEBERG, Germany (AP) _ A fire gutted a women's psychiatric hospital in northern Germany, killing nine patients, police said Monday.
The blaze broke out Sunday afternoon and destroyed the wooden structure. Two bodies were discovered late Sunday and seven more were found Monday, police said.
The small hospital had 29 patients at the time of the fire. Twenty patients, eight of them in wheelchairs, escaped unharmed, as did three nurses.
Authorities have not determined the cause of the fire.
