STORRS, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut and North Carolina State have agreed to a home-and-home football series over the next six years.

UConn officials said the Huskies will travel to Raleigh, N.C. on Nov. 15, 2003. The Wolfpack will make the trip to Connecticut on Sept. 8, 2007, for a game in Rentschler Stadium in East Hartford.

The 40,000-seat stadium, now under construction, is expected to be ready for the 2003 season.

UConn opens its second season as a Division I-A independent on Sept. 1 at Virginia Tech. UConn will join the Big East in 2005.
