New Hampshire dominates UMass Lowell 61-32

LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — Daniel Dion scored 20 points, on 8-of-11 shooting, and had seven assists as New Hampshire dominated UMass Lowell 61-32 on Sunday.
Dion made 4 of 6 from 3-point range for New Hampshire (5-15, 3-4 America East) and Chris Pelcher added 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Antonio Bivins came off the bench and scored 12 points for UMass Lowell (5-14, 4-4). Bivins made just two of his eight shots, but was 8 of 9 from the free throw line. Akeem Williams entered the game averaging 16 points per game in conference play, but was just 1 of 11 from the field and finished with four points.
The Wildcats held UMass Lowell to 15 second half points — on just three field goals — after leading 25-17 at halftime. The River Hawks made just 6 of 49 shots (12.2 percent) for the game, but only missed five of their 25 free throws.
