PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A man wanted in connection with the death of his mother's 60-year-old boyfriend has surrendered to Providence police.

Police Maj. David Lapatin told WPRI-TV that 47-year-old Richard Price turned himself in Tuesday. Price is expected to be charged with first-degree murder and arraigned in court Wednesday.

Authorities say Price's mother and her boyfriend, Wayne Lee, got into an argument in a city apartment on Aug. 6. They say Price and his son, 25-year-old Richard Ramos, attacked Lee while trying to remove him from the apartment, and Lee suffered a head injury during a fall. He died at a hospital on Aug. 15.

Ramos was charged that day with conspiracy to commit felony assault.

It wasn't immediately clear if Price has a lawyer who could respond to the allegations.
