Dow Gains 10; Nasdaq Jumps 30

NEW YORK (AP) _ The Dow Jones industrial average is up ten points in today's early going. Losers on the New York Stock Exchange hold a 7-6 lead over gainers.
The Nasdaq Composite Index is up 30 points and the S&P 500 Index is up two points.
Wall Street will have to rely on market fundamentals today, with no bond market to react to.
The Treasury market is closed today in observance of Veterans' Day.
On the earnings front, numbers are expected after the closing bell from Dell Computer.
The Gap posted results this morning that were slightly ahead of expectations.
The Nasdaq composite begins from another record high, its eighth in the past nine sessions.
