Pakistan Records Two Mild Quakes

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) _ Two mild earthquakes were recorded Saturday in northwestern Pakistan, but officials said no loss of life or property resulted.
The tremors, at 4:09 a.m. and 9:01 a.m., were centered 112 miles northwest of Islamabad.
The magnitude of the tremors on the open-ended Richter scale was 3.8 and 3.9, respectively, as measured by ground motion recorded on a seismograph, said officials at the Space and Upper Atmospheric Research Center.
A quake of 3.5 magnitude can cause slight damage.
