PHOENIX (AP) — A Phoenix firefighter has been arrested and accused of kidnapping and assaulting his wife's boyfriend.
Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say 31-year-old David Johnathan Lee was arrested last week.
Lee is out of jail after posting $25,000 bond, but it was unclear Wednesday if he has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf.
Lee is accused of using his wife's cellphone to text the victim and lure him to her north Phoenix home on Aug. 2.
Court documents state that Lee and his wife are divorcing, but still are living together.
Authorities say Lee confronted the victim with a knife and handgun and allegedly assaulted him at gunpoint for one hour before allowing him to leave.
