Jordan's Queen Rania Is Pregnant

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) _ Queen Rania is pregnant and expects her third child in late September, the Royal Palace announced Tuesday.
``We beseech God to make this event an omen for blessing and prosperity to the noble Hashemite family and our dear Jordan,'' said the announcement, carried on the official Petra news agency.
Rania, 29, is the Palestinian wife of King Abdullah II, 38, who ascended to the throne after his father, King Hussein, died last year.
Rania and Abdullah, who married in 1993, have two children, Prince Hussein, 5, and Princess Iman, 3.
