Police: 3 people arrested in prostitution sting in Georgia
Feb. 14, 2018
THOMASVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Police say an undercover prostitution operation has arrested three people in Georgia.
WALB-TV quotes a Thomasville police report as saying Joseph Baldwin gave an undercover officer directions to a prostitute Friday evening. Less than an hour later the officer saw Kayshonda Drake at a street corner. She asked him how much money he had and what he wanted.
Earlier that Friday, Anthony Adams told the officer it would cost $25 for "company" he was seeking.
Drake and Adams were charged with prostitution and possession and use of a drug-related object. Baldwin is charged with pandering and traffic offenses. They were arrested during traffic stops following their encounters with the officer. It is unclear if they have lawyers.
The police sting followed complaints received about drugs and prostitution in the area.
