NEW YORK (AP) _ The Philadelphia Phillies continued their search for a new manager by interviewing Yankees third base coach Willie Randolph on Wednesday.

Phillies general manager Ed Wade, and other team officials met with Randolph prior to Game 3 of the World Series.

Seattle third base coach Larry Bowa, a former player and coach with the Phillies, will interview in Philadelphia on Thursday.

Randolph, 46, has been the third-base coach for the Yankees since 1994. He's also a candidate for other managerial jobs.

The Phillies fired Terry Francona on Oct. 1 after finishing tied with the Chicago Cubs for the worst record in the majors at 65-97.

Wade has interviewed several candidates, including former Phillies catchers Darren Daulton and Bob Boone, and current third-base coach John Vukovich.
