The Detroit Red Wings built a four-goal lead and held on for a 5-3 win over the Dallas Stars on Friday night to take a 2-1 series lead in the Western Conference finals. The Red Wings led 4-0 midway through the third period before the Stars scored three straight goals. Jere Lehtinen scored Dallas' first two goals and assisted on the third.
