E-2C Plane Plunges into Northern Arabian Sea

TOKYO (AP) _ Two crewman were missing after a carrier-born early warning aircraft with five crewmen aboard plunged into the ocean Saturday night while attempting to land on the USS Midway aircraft carrier in the northern Arabian sea, a U.S. Forces Japan spokesman said.
Master Gunnery Sgt. Ed Evans said three of the crewmen were rescued in good condition.

Names of the crew members were not available immediately.
Evans said an investigators were attempting to determine the cause of the accident.
