On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had a loss of less than 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 5 cents per share.

The provider of websites and career fairs for professionals posted revenue of $41.6 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $2.11. A year ago, they were trading at $2.20.
