WASHINGTON (AP) _ Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Henning will come back to Washington as an offensive assistant coach, while Redskins special team's coach Wayne Sevier is considering a move to San Diego, according to published reports.

Henning, the Falcons' head coach for four seasons, will become an additional assistant in Washington to bolster the Redskins offensive staff, said both The Washington Times and The Baltimore Sun in Monday's editions.

Henning was offensive coordinator for the Redskins during the 1981-82 NFL seasons.

Meanwhile, Sevier was to meet with San Diego Chargers coach Al Saunders Tuesday to be interviewed for that team's vacant special-teams coach job, the newspapers said.
