COMMACK, N.Y. (AP) — Police on Long Island say a driver and his passenger were killed when their car crashed into a gas station and caught fire.

According to the New York Post , the men were heading west on Jericho Turnpike in Commack (KOH'-mak) when the driver lost control and hit a gas pump at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Suffolk County police say both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
