BARCELONA, Spain (AP) _ Running back Mike Green rushed for an NFL Europe record four touchdowns and passed for another Saturday, leading the first-place Barcelona Dragons to a 55-35 victory over the Berlin Thunder.
The two teams set a record for total points in the game.
Green, allocated to the developmental league by the Tennessee Titans, scored on runs of 2, 15, 1 and 4 yards and connected on a 44-yard TD pass with Bryan Gilmore as the Dragons improved to 5-1.
The four TDs gave Green seven for the season and the 90 points broke the two-team total of 78 set in 1991 by the Orlando Thunder and Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks.
The two teams scored four touchdowns in the first 10 minutes and 52 points in the first half.
